Hi Everyone.
This is my first post on this site, although I am a member of various other sites, mainly in England.
During my research into my family tree I have discovered 2 families from Dumfries, who married into my tree. I believe they came down to Liverpool together in search of work in the building trade sometime between 1834 & 1840. I know very little of the details of their life in Dumfries prior to 1834. Hope someone can help fill in the gaps.
