Should our surname be Lee or Lees. It seems most members of the 'Lee' family are from the Fraserburgh area. Many of the 'Lees' family are from Kincardineshire. The problem is, we are not sure where our family originate! My husband's grandfather was William Milne Lee, but some of his siblings were recorded as 'Lees'. In one census the gt grandfather is listed as coming from Kincardineshire and in another from Aberdeenshire ! Help!
