I am searching for birth records for the following years. 1879 / 1881 / 1885 / 1888 / 1890.
This family had 6 children and only one who was born in 1892 had his birth registered.
Does anyone have any background info on what was going on in scotland that no records would be available for the above years?
From what I understand most of these children were born in Morton.
The line in question is Samuel Carruthers & Grace Lindsey
