This is my first time trying to research Scotland. Search for McIver (McIvar?) family. In 1851 they were in Canada West. John 42, Jean 50, Jean Gordon 27, Donald 20, CHRISTINA 17 (my g-g-grandmother). Christina married John A. Campbell between 1851 and 1860. Listed on Canada West Census in 1861 with children John A. Campbell 4 and Donald Campbell 1.
Also search for William Blake family listed on 1861 Scotland Census in Wilton, Roxburgshire, Scotland. Wife Mary Blake 37, children: John Blake 16, Agness 13, Thomas 11, Andrew 7.
