I'm searching for information about my ggg-grandparents:
Donald Alexander MacDonald - Born on July 26, 1813 in Fload, Parish of Creich, Sutherlandshire.
He died on September 8, 1894 in Woodstock, Oxford, Ontario, Canada. His parents were Margaret MacKay and James MacDonald, who married about 1806, according to the LDS website.
Janet Murray - She was born in 1822 in Sutherland.
I would appreciate any advice about further research in Sutherland. Does anyone know of a Scottish connection to Oxford County, Ontario, Canada?
