I am trying to find more details of my Gt Grandparents, William Ward and Margaret Mackereth.
William was born in Kendal in 1829, he was a Marble mason and lived at Peppercorn Lane, Kendal.
His wife was Margaret Mackereth, born 1834 in Kendal.They had 11 children. One of these was Elizabeth Ward (born 1868) who married a Joseph Tindall from Lincolnshire.
I believe that Margaret mackereth's parents were Thomas and Margaret, but more than this I cannot discover. Is anyone out there connected with this family? I would love to make contact if there is.
