My ggrandfather was William WAITE born 29/10/1840 in Bradford on Avon. His father was also William WAITE bapt. 28/12/1801 and mother Ann WALKER bapt 13/6/1807. Both families were from ROAD (RODE) Somerset. I have found in the Rode parish register indexes the following
John WAITE m Elizabeth WALKER 18/10/1814
Isaac WAITE m Louisa WALKER 12/4/1819
William WAITE m Jemima WALKER 10/7/1820
These names and dates all tie up to them being brothers and sisters which does seem amazing.Parents were John and Mary WAITE and Samuel and Sarah WALKER.
What I can't find is William marrying Ann WALKER who was Jemima's sister. I wonder if Jemima died and William remarried later on? Certainly I can't find a child for Ann and William until 1838.
