Researching BRYANT in the Quantock area of Somerset - many stonemasons. James (b. c 1779 Over Stowey) and Mary had children baptised DODINGTON c 1812-26.
Their son Charles married in Kingsbury Epicopi (1852 to Mary Ann FURBER), moved to Cardiff, Birkenhead CHS, Todmorden LAN and Wallasey CHS where he died. (1891).
Another family from Dodington, Henry BRYANT, also a stonemason, moved in a similar fashion and children intermarried - described as 'cousin' on census but no link found yet.
Interested in any Bryants from this area.

Hello Ruth,
I notice that you posted a message about the Bryants but it was a long time ago. I'm not a Bryant but my Grandmother was the daughter of Ellen Bryant who is a daughter of Henry b.1827. I have been researching the family and would like to share information. I assume you have made the links between the families you mentioned by now. I am also in touch with others researching this family. I live in Wallasey.
