I am looking for information on a steamer by the name of Tynemouth Castle 1877. I think this may be the ship my family came to America on. My GG Grandmother was Susanna Jackson. She first married William Smith and had 3 daughters. Capt Smith drowned at Santander near the Straits of Gilbalter. She then married Richard Palmer and they sailed to America in 1877. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
