Anyone know where Castlemains was,in Simonburn parish?Reference is:John Aynsley son of Stephen Aynsley of Castlemains, baptised (in Simonburn) Feb 12th 1792.
Also, a John Aynsley was farmer at Seatonville Farm, Monkseaton, in late 1700s. Anyone know if he was a tenant farmer, and if so, who owned the land?
