Cockburn/Stephenson

Hi,
I am researching the family Cockburn that lived in a place called Coupen Isabella Northumberland. Does anyone know of this place? It doesn't exist today, but my Great Grandfather William Cockburn was born there in 1891. I know that his fathers name was George Cockburn and his mothers name was Jane Stephenson. William had two siblings, their names were Hannah Cockburn and Adam Nicholas Cockburn. They moved to New Waterford Nova Scotia Canada, before WW1. I hope someone can help me out.

Kristi, the Isabella was the name of a pit (coal mine) in the Cowpen (pronounced coopen) are of Blyth, Northumberland. The Isabella was locally known as the "Bella".
Have you had a look for your family on 1901 census?
