I am looking for the families of Elizabeth Laing nee Whitfield. She was born in 1860, married a man named Laing and had at least 4 children; Jacob (b.1878), Margaret (b. February 23, 1882), Fred (b.1885) and Beatrice (b. 1887). They emigrated to the U.S. in 1895. They lived in Haydon Bridge. According to family history, Mr. Laing returned to Haydon Bridge for a visit and was robbed and killed there. I would be excited to hear from possible connections in the area. Thank you.
