I am trying to find the roots of my mother's family in England. My ggg-grandfather Thomas Thompson was born in Northumberland (maybe Berwick-upon-Tweed) abt 1780. There is no record of a wife and may have been a widower. He left for Canada with at least one son named Thomas Jr. born abt 1810. And he may have left with a second son James. born abt 1815.
They settled in the province of New Brunswick and are all buried there.
