Hi. I am interested in locating information and descendants of David ANDERSON of Lower Largo,Fife who married Ann SLIMIN of Tweedmouth (Berwick) in 1878. The Andersons moved to Gateshead by 1881 and then to Wallsend where they lived until David's death in 1925. The children's names in this family are: John, Barbara,Katherine,Elizabeth,Alex,Robert,Davidena,David,Mary Jane and Janet. Barbara married Tom MURPHY and had seven children. These children are Hugh,Barbara,born1902,Winnifred,Eileen,Tom,
Ann(Nan),Molly,born 1900. Hugh was killed in a tragic ship fire on board the M.S.Empire Jonquil in 1947 near Hull. Any information on the above persons and event would be greatly appreciated.
