I am trying to trace a family connection to the Ovingham/ Ovington area of Northumberland where Ibelieve my family owned, probably leased a coal mine. There was a group of houses behind what was the Highlander Inn that was called Russell Square(or possibly Terrace). These houses were apparentley demolished some years ago. The Russell's were also occupiers of the Highlander at one point, probably late 1800's. Any info about this or Russell cola owners at Ingoe would be gratefully received.
