Since posting my last query, I have received information in regard to John Brynolf, my great grand father. He is noted in the 1881 census as "Jno Brynolf (Naturalised BS), born 1840 in Sweden". We think he was born in Barieo Fiold, Newsonboulg, Sweden, but we have been unable to locate this place. He, and his wife Mary Ann, had 4 children. We have information about my grand father Lawrence, but nothing is known about the other 3 of his children - Alexander, born 1871 South Shields, Durham - Mary Elizabeth, born 1874 South Shields - Alfred, born 1880 Gateshead. Any information, no matter how small, or how vague, about John and/or his wife and children, will be gratefully received.
