Seeking any information for:
William WHILES (possible various spellings) -
b. c 1850 in Leicester. Age 12 yrs. worked as "boy" on board vessel "Saucy Lass" for 6 mos.
departed Hull, arrived Cardiff, 1863. Emigrated
to Canada (when?) and married in Toronto, Ontario
for 2nd time. Records states he was a "widow" and age 30. Parents John Whiles & (not clear -but
looks like Elvira or Elisa?) born in Leicester.
He married 1882 to Alice COLLINSON age 18 yrs.
To them was born March 1883 a daug. - Florence
WHILES. William WHILES died - Nov 1883 - from a
work related accident.
Appreciate hearing from anyone with any facts, data etc. and willing to share data. I have been
searching for a very long time and up against a
solid brick wall. Would like to find out facts
on first marriage and if any children, also.
