My father was John Gilbert Faricy b 1917 in Wigan Lancs to John and Anne Faricy. Due to a family fall-out very little is known about my great-grandparents, John & Mary Faricy. My great-great-grandfather could be a Redmond/Raymond Faricy who came to Lancs from Co. Waterford (I would think about the time of the famine) to work in the coal mines.
Its an unusual surname the spelling could have changed over the years. Any news would be great.
