I am looking for any references to the Standish name in Lancs or Liverpool 1800 +.
A great deal of my Standish kin were involved in coal mining.

I have an Eleanor Standish (Ellen) who married Thomas Fairhurst, 1788 in Winwick, Lanncs. Her father's name was William Standish. They had a daughter, Elizabeth "Betty" who married my relative Thomas Greenall. Any connection?
