Migrated to United States between 1880-1890 at the age of 15. Became a US citizen in 1886 in LA Salle County Illinois.
He married Naomi " Bethel " Patterson in Greenwood, Arkansas on March 30,1895. He worked most of his life as a coalminer.
It has been said that he had a brother that was living in Illinois,in the early to mid 1900's.
