I am researching a David Hirst/Hurst, son of John and Sarah (surname unknown). David was born in York, England in 1810, and married Hannah Whitehead in 1834 in Mottram in Logdendale,Cheshire, England. They came to the USA through New York on the Orphan ship on April 3, 1848. David and Hannah stayed in Massachusetts for several years, then settled in Rhode Island. I am looking for information on David's father and mother.
