Just received copy on an entry of marriage for Mary Jane Hamilton and James Macashin Hamilton. These would be my great grandparents. They were married Jan. 28, 1875 at St. Thomas, Pendleton in the Parrish of Eccles in the County of Lancaster. This certificate tells me Mary Jane's father was Samuel Harrison (deceased) and he was a Stone Mason. Mary Jane was 19 and lived at 148 Bolton (or Bottom or something like that) Road. My family stories say Mary Jane died giving birth to my grandfather, George Edwin Hamilton (Dec. 1875) or that she died while George was an infant. I am looking for information about Mary Jane and/or Samuel Hamilton ... hoping to discover Mary Jane's mother's name .... siblings and of course any other interesting info. Thank You For Any Help.
