Hi can someone help please with a lookup on the 1871 census possibly in Evenwood for Thomas and Rebecca Bentley (its also spelt Brentley).
In 1881 census It shows Thomas away from address in Low Coniscliffe when census taken and Rebecca as firemans wife.
Ive found that most of my family branches are connected to the Steel works in Darlington and Stockton. Tho I know Rebecca(bn 1848) is from Snape, Yorks I need to establish where Thomas is from and age. I cannot find him on the IGI.
Im really stuck and would be very glad and grateful if some kind person can help me solve this mystery. These brick walls are really hurting, thanks
