Bowey + Danby, Wardle or Wilson as middlenames

Posted by Dawn Mills
On that useful tradition of using surnames as middle names....anyone recognise Bowey with Danby, Wardle or Wilson as a middle name??
There's quite a lot of these in my databse!
Hi
My partner William Bowey began searching his family a couple of years ago,
unfortunately he has lost all interest in family history now.
His aunt and cousin are still searching for information so I will pass your
emails to them.
I have found this info in his file;
Matthew Wardle Bowey
ay 14th 1843 Houghton le Spring
(son of Matthew). He married Elizabeth Ann Danby c,1845
William Danby Bowey July 9th 1871 in Gateshead,ch, Sept 10th 1871 St
Nicholas N/castle, married
Catherine Earl Dec 20th 1892 Holy Trinity Church Sunderland.
Does any of this fit in with your info??
Kind Regards
Julie

Wow! I'm exceited! Your partner and I are DEFINATELY related!!
Matthew Wardle Bowey and Elizabeth Ann Danby are my x2 great grand parents. We've got a generation or behind them too.
I have another cousin (I bumped into on the Internet over the research as it happens) who had already produced quite a sizable data bank on the Boweys. I'm pushing at the Danbys at the moment too.
If William really has lost interest I'd love to hear from his 'aunt'. I'm sure we've bucket loads of data to exchange! And it's always fun to make contact with thoes distant relatives you didn't know you had, isn't it? Should William take up the trail again, I'd be delighted to talk to him too.
Thank you so much for your help and good luck in your own research.
Dawn
