I am searching for information and ancestry of my ancestor, Christopher Davis or Davison or Davidson. He was born in 1616 in what he called "the bishopwyck." Have reason to believe that this was a reference to Durham. He migrated to Massachusetts Bay Colony in 1636 and to the Hudson River Valley of New Netherlands in 1638.
