I have a birth certificate for my husband's father J D Wilson. On it, it states his father(my husband's grandfather)was Flavius Wilson. The certificate gives Flavius's birthplace as Omerson. Nothing else. Other documents state he was born in England. Thus I pose the question, can anyone tell me if there ever was a place anywhere in England known as Omerson?
