Durham England - Looking for any information on William HALL - b.1870. Married Margaret Helen(a) ATKINSON - b. 1873. Married 1896 or earlier, first son - Richard was born 1896 in Durham. My grandfather - William Bernard HALL born May 23, 1901. The family came to Canada (Nova Scotia) about 1903. They had 2 more Children - Hilda (m. Henry King) b.1905 Springhill Nova Scotia (d. Nov 24, 1987 New Glasgow NS), and Norman Arthur Frederick HALL b. 1908 Springhill NS, d. 1928 Joggins Nova Scotia.
They lived in Springhill for a number of years before moving to Joggins (1/2 hour from Amherst Nova Scotia) William Sr. was a coal miner when he came to Canada and was killed in June 1918 in a rock-fall in a Joggins mine. Margaret died in July 21, 1949 in Springhill. Any additional information on any of the above people would be appreciated, esp. William HALL and Margaret ATKINSON.
