Alfrd Thorne was born in Cerne Abbas in 1889.
He was apprenticed to a saddler on leaving school.
He next appears in Canada in 1915 when he enlisted in the Army.
Can anyone help me to find out when he went and where he went from?
I know there are passenger lists in PRO Kew, but without more information it will be a long haul.
