I am trying to find my fathers family. My great grand father was George Brewer, born 1855. Death and marriage certificates said he came from Doresetshire. He married Mary West 17 september 1888 at Opawa Christchurch New Zealand. George Brewer died 9th July 1936 at Waipukarau New Zealand. His father was Reuben Brewer who married Jane Mills. Doresetshire. Have looked in 1881 census but the only Reuben and Jane I found did not have a George in the dweling at time of census.Can anyone help with my search.
