I'm attempting to find lineage on a painting that is approx. 300yrs old which carries the crest of the Richmund/Richmund family. The portrait is of an elderly spinster or widow, and was purchased in Massachusetts,USA. Preliminary research has revealed that a Richmund family lived at Highhead Castle around 1665. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks
