Help!!! I am at a total standstill. I am researching the jackson family history from the Caldeck England area. I am looking for information on a Lydia Jane Jackson. She was a domestic housemaid and resided at the George & Dragon Inn at Uldale in 1904. She gave birth to my grandfather William Jackson in March 1908 in Caldbeck area. The father was unkown on William's birth certificate. When William was quite young he came to Canada(he thinks with his mother) later residing in Moosejaw, Saskatchewan. He has no recollection of what may have happened to his mother or any info her age or anything. He is now deceased so we have even less info. If this sound familar to anyone please let me know!!
