Nee/Rigg

Hello,
I am trying to find information on a Catherine Rigg and Michael Nee. They lived in Whitehaven Cumberland in the 1890's and 1900's. Michael was a Mining Engineer. I was told they were married in Ireland and moved to Whitehaven because of work and the fighting going on in Ireland. Any help or information would be appreciated.

my grandparents and great grandparents came from the parish of egremont in cumberland. my greatgrandmother was martha romney rigg married to william henry rigg who was a tailor artist and ex miner my grandmother may anderson rigg was a cook and in service in the 1920's in cumberland. we could be related as rigg is not a common surname

I am related to John Rigg born Jan. 1, 1835 & Agness Cockbain Bennett born July 1834. They were married at St. Bees.
are either of you related. or know of these people.
