NORMAN

I would be interested to hear from anyone who is researching any NORMAN ancestors from Cumberland.
I will willingly share any information that may be of help.

I have information on my Norman ancestors going back as far as David Norman who married Agnes Atkinson in Burgh by Sands at the age of 79 in 1793. They had a son, John, in 1795. I do not know who David's parents or siblings were and can find no record of his birth in 1714.

I have just seen your request about the name Norman from Cumberland. I have a Jane Norman marrying a Fergus Marriner Mar 20 1810 in Kirklinton, they had Charles born 1812, Catherine and Ellinor born 1815, William born 1817 who was my great great grandfather, James born 1820 and Thomas born 1822. I am not looking for the Norman side of this family as I am still seraching for the Marriners. Yours Norma
