My GGG Grandfather was Thomas Pritchard inn keeper of the Radnor Arms in 1851, by 1861 his wife catherine pritchard was inn keeper and this passed onto his daughter and then his son William Pritchard. My GG Grandfather William Bullock was employed on the De Winton estate in 1871, he went onto marry Thomas Pritchards daughter Catherine in 1873 in London, whilst working for the De Winton family.
According to my records Walter De Winton was in 1871 Magistrate and Landowner in Breconshire, living in a castle.
Does this castle still exist and do any pritchards still live in Radnorshire?
