William Thomas was born in Lianbister, Radnorshire, Wales in 1814. Jane Thomas born in 1827 at Llanfair, shropshire England, Her parents had a large daily farm in Dolfor. They where married at Mainstone Church, in Mainstone. My Grandmothers papers said They settled in Cann Farm, Mainstone. The papers say they later owned Petreville, Railhouse, the Den, and the Quarry. William and Jane are buired in Churchstoke cemetery in Montgomeryshire, Wales. William died June 19, 1889 and Jane died June 20, 1908. The 1881 British census showed them at Argoed farm Churchstoke, Montgomery, Wales farming 300 acres. I have been trying to find anything on them about owning a Quarry, The name of the Quarry and where it was located. Any information on my 3x great grand father will be greatly appreciated.
