Has any one information on the Jones family living at Aberdwylan, or subsequently, Parkhwnt near to the village of Cenarth. My line comes down through Margaret b. 1849, daughter of Henry b. 1811 and Anna b.1816 Jones. Margaret married a Thomas Phillips in 1876. He then left Wales for America sometime between 1891 and 1901 to find work as a miner. The family lore is that he went to America
The family lore is that he went to America with 2 of Margaret's brothers. Which two i do not know. They, according to the story, stayed over there, married and brought up families. A vague link points to Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania. Thomas was killed in America and I know nothing about him, But maybe I can trace the brothers and see if I can get information that way.
