I am looking for the whereabouts of the SHAFTO Family Bible which was purchased along with an ilustrated copy of John BUNYAN's A Pilgrims Progress as an investment by my GGrandfather on his return from the Gold Rush in the Klondike. It was donated to either the museum or Library in Gateshead Co Durham by my Grandmother in the 1940's. I have tried official sources but to no avail.
