I am looking for information on Edmond Padgett who was born in 1646 in England and died 20 November 1722 in Essex County, Virginia. He married Elizabeth Wale? Children for Edmond and Elizabeth were: John Padgett, b. 1666; d. August 1745; Edmond Padgett, b. 1668; Abraham Padgett, b. 1672, d. 1737, Henry, Virginia; Henry Padgett, b. 1674; d. December 1745, m. Margaret; Ephraim Padgett, b. 1676; d. 1723; Francis Padgett, b. 1678; d. 1734, Spotsylvania, Virginia; Mary Padgett, b. 1680, m. John Smith; Elizabeth Padgett, b. 1682. At least some of these children were born in England. Edmond was the first of this Padgett family to come to America to the best of my knowledge. I would love to have more information about this family, and I am certainly willing to share the information that I have. Thank you for your help.
