John Farrar

My grandmother was Isabella Cooper Coates, She came to Canada in 1879. I am now doing research on her family in yorkshire, Her father was Joseph Coates.Her mother was Sarah Farrar, daughter of John Farrar of Slaithwaite Yorkshire. John was born on October10,1792 at Almondbury Yorkshire.
John Farrar had a woolen mill,referred to as the Albion Mill, located at Meltam Yorkshire
I would appreciate any further information.

I am also related to the Farrar's from Yorkshire. But I am trying to find Henry/Henri Ferror/Farrar in the 1400's I know he was owner of Ewood/Eowood Hall in Yorkshire. Does anyone know who is father was? I know he had a son Henry and the line goes on down from there to William who came to America and settle Henrico Island in VA. But can not trace back. Also I know we are from Normandy, France from family stories and I am sure that the de Ferriers are related. I would like to find the line threw them to my Henri.
