I've been researching the Compton Family and have been able to trace my lineage back to Samuel Compton and Elizabeth Lewis. According to what I've found is that they were born about 1738 in England. I've further learned that they were married in the United States about 1762 in Bucks County (the state is still in question).
Anyone who may have further information on these two and their families in England and could e-mail me with the information, I would appreciate it.
