Family story is that my g,g,grandfather Alfred Isaac Solomon, murdered his wife's lover. HIS father was the Captain of the Liverpool docks, and shipped him to America to avoid prosecution. His daughter, (my great grandma) Grace Belle Solomon,was born in 1879 in Pennsylvania. It is likely that Alfred was close to her age, so this murder probably occurred around the turn of the century. I thought there might be records of the Captain of the Docks.
