Hi:
I am looking for information on my great grandfather Jenkin Thomas and his family). Jenkin was born c1815, married Susannah Morgan at the Parrish Church in Llangynwyd on 1 April, 1850 and died on his farm in Blaen Cwmdu on 13 June 1861. I have found that Jenkin and Susannah had two children: David born c1858 and Catherine c1860. Both, I believe would have been born in Blaen Cwmdu. Susannah later remarried.
On his marriage certificate Jenkin list his father as David Thomas a farmer. I have most of the information on my grandfather David and his family but cannot find the date of birth for either David or Catherine. Finding the death of Susannah has led me on several wild card chases, still do not have this date.
With regard to Jenkin, I cannot find evidence of his birth, or parents etc. Is anyone else out there looking for the same famly.? If so, please contact me at
