I am trying to make the connection from Scotland to my last known ancestor in Londonderry, Northern Ireland.
John Archibald b. 1691 Londonderry NI. Left Ireland around 1720 with his wife Magaret Wilson & 2 sons David and Samuel.
He died in Londonderry, New Hampshire Aug 10, 1751.
I have seen it in other trees, but have no documented sources, that his father was Robert Ghileasbaig Archibald who was born in 1668 also in Londonderry Ireland. He is shown as being married to Ann Boyd. They also may have gone to New Hampshire.
Now here is the Scot connection - I have Robert's father as being John Archibald of Clackmanan or Kennoway, born about 1650. I would really like to find some documentation if this is indeed my great-grandfather x 10. He is shown as being married to Jannet Tullock.
Is there documentation available which shows when people may have moved to Ireland?
