Sutherland born 1838 Dunkeld, Cai.

Hello all,

Looking for any connections to my g. grandmother Christina Sutherland born 16 november 1838 Dunkeld, Caithness.
Christina's parents were: William Sutherland & Christina Sutherland formerly Sutherland.

In 1861 census in Wick I found a Christina Sutherland working as a domestic servant for a widower, Mr Bain & his family.

She may have had a brother James who came out to New Zealand as did Christina in 1867 to marry William McLauchlan in 1868

Their children were:
William Sutherland McL
Catherine McL.
John McL
William Archibald Cook McL.

Any help much appreciated...even the slightest inkling plse. have been searching for 3yrs.

My GGGrandparents I live in Cobourg and their son Donald was my GGrandfather I
have more information i will look up to see if i can find any connection to
your family
