Watt ancestors

For a couple years I've been trying to get info about my husbands Scots background.
His father was Archie Watt dob 5/15/20 dod 7/4/03 he came from a family of 9,I believe 6 brothers,3 sisters-right name supposedly Archibald(?)
His parents names are William Sterling Watt possible death May 27,1930-found this in a church letter
mothers name was Catherine MacIntyre
Have also learned he is a distant relative of James Watt who invented the steam engine.
I know Scottish spellings can differ by as much as one letter.I'd appreciate any information you can give me.
They are all from Pennsylvania

I saw your posting about Watt,and was wondering if you had gotten any replies to your query?
Where in PA. are your Watt's located? Have you tried doing searches through the Registry of Will in their particular county of birth
for birth,marriage,and death records?
I know through my own researching of my Husbands' Hamilton ancestry to Greenock,Renfrewshire,Scotland,that James Watt was born in that area.
