I am trying to find info for Mary Ann (Bromley) Marwood she was known as "Annie" She was born 1861 in Birmingham. She married my Great Grandfather Thomas Wm. Marwood b.1855. They were married in 1880.
I wonder if I have the right Annie (Bromley) Marwood. I have a copy of the England & Wales Census 1871. Listing her father as William Chatham, 40 years old born Coventry, Warwick, Mother: Emma Chatham 35 yrs old, born Semington, War. Edwin Bromley brother age 6 , born in Birmngham.
Why did she have a different last name than her parents. Thank you for any help anyone can give me.
