Pittman (Inkberrow), Evans; Worcester

My maternal great-grandparents lived in Vauxhall, Nechells in Birmingham, close to where the Aston expressway is now. Mary Evans, nee Pittman originated in Inkberrow in Worcestershire and George, an upholsterer and cabinet maker appears to have been born in Worcester. I would be delighted to hear from anyone who can enlighten me further on this part of the family. My grandfather, Lancelot Vere 'Harry' Evans lived with the family in Spooner St in Vauxhall until he finally settled in Salford after WW 1. I have sketchy information about the Pitman family in Inkberrow, and nothing of George Evans family, other than his father was also called George and may have been a farmer - it is difficult to decipher.

Best wishes,

Greg
