I am looking for information on the Hilpert family in england,especially on the town of Hilperton in Wiltshire.My great grandfather,Fridolin Hilpert was born in Bavaria in 1866,to George Hilpert and Eva Hammelin.
It is possible that during the time of king George the First,who was German,that a member of the family did go to England, but am not sure.
Whether or not there is a connection to Germany i doubt know,but i would be curious to find out.
