My grandpa,Ernest Bennett,born Ambleside 1891, father John William, born 1866 Ambleside, grandfather Thomas 1833, Great Grandfather Thomas 1813, the last two born at Coulton. These were a family of hauliers who transported the first waterpipes from Thirlmere to Ambleside in the mid nineteenth century. Anyone any further information about this business that they had.
