My Sherstone connection is through my gr-grandmother, Mary SHERSTONE, married to Samuel Dunster and living in Compton Dundon at the time of the 1881 census. Do you have a connection to this family, do you think?
Incidentally, I have been told by someone that the Sherstone family is well-known and well-connected and there are memorials to various members in Wells cathedral.
